After two massages with Sydney, it is clear that bodywork sessions with her are restorative on more than simply a physical level. Her space is intentionally and tenderly crafted with plants, fabrics, and sacred objects, and the moment I enter, I feel a sense of relief and deep comfort. While Sydney expertly creates and guides the experience, I also feel that my desire truly matters and she is very adept with pivoting based on my needs in the moment. Sydney also knows the questions to ask so that I can better share what these needs are before and even during our session. In general, our conversations are intimate and easy, evoking a candor in me that I typically reserve for only very deep friends. My sessions take a few days to integrate on an emotional level, and after both I have experienced a sense of release that I can only attribute to the way Sydney invites me to share what is happening in my life (my first session was pain and existential dread after newly diagnosed health issues; the second from a breakup and loss of community), and also the work she does on locating where I store these feelings in my body and processing them. As a trained social work clinician, I see Sydney as having more natural ability at holding space and attending to emotion than what many in my field have taken years to cultivate. Sydney is truly gifted, and I feel it is a great gift in my life to have been able to receive treatments from her.

Feeling held has been something that I yearn for and constantly seek as a mother and a modern woman/creator. Safe people who do not judge and operate from a place of pure acceptance and love so that my physical and emotional body can fully relax and just BE. Finding Syd has been an essential part of my journey to heal myself through allowing myself to be safely held in a beautiful nest of loving care and intuitive touch, where I have the space to set intention for what I want to happen in my body and life, and then just rest and receive as Syd works her massage and energetic magic. I leave feeling reborn and re-tuned to the frequency of divine love. A massage with Syd is an experience felt on all levels, subtle yet powerful and has led me to beautiful and deep shifts in my understanding and awareness, living more wholly in my body.

Sydney holds such a warm, gentle, soft, motherly, womb-like space. Oh! It is immensely healing just to step foot into her sanctuary! Sydney's bodywork felt like a reentering, recentering, deepening into myself. Her hands are so powerful, so intuitive and guided! My heart space expanded, my senses reawakened, a map has been made...my body is a compass! Sydney leaves so much room for personal process, I love her invitation of speaking aloud, it feels so releasing and prayerful to me! Oh!!! Two hours went by like the blink of my eye, I wanted to be there forever. Sydney's touch is pure bliss, so loving, so heavenly, so Divine!!! I feel like a radiant, glowing Goddess after my bodywork - I feel poured into, nourished peaceful, whole, Home again! I am remembering how much I need to support my physical body, my health is my greatest wealth. Aho. Thank you Sydney.

Beyond the labels of healer, massage therapist, nurturer, etc., it is clear that Sydney is first and foremost a human being who is tremendously filled with love. This love inevitably pours into all of the amazing gifts she has to offer, and is exactly what makes her work so potent. Every time I have worked with Sydney, her humility combined with her deep attentiveness to my experience has always left me feeling held and vastly more in touch with my own inner knowing.
